Por último, indique en el formulario de
puntuación si seis o más criterios en la
infancia (<18 años) y cinco o más criterios
en la edad adulta (>17 años) para cada uno
de los campos sintomáticos de Décit de
Atención (A) e Hiperactividad-Impulsividad
(HI). Para cada campo, indique si existe
evidencia de que los síntomas persistana lo
largo de la vida, si los síntomas están
asociados con limitaciones, si dichas
limitaciones ocurren en al menos dos
situaciones y si los síntomas podrían
explicarse mejor por otro trastorno
psiquiátrico. Indique hasta qué punto la
información colateral y, en su caso, los
informes escolares apoyan el diagnóstico.
Por último, concluir si se puede hacer el
diagnóstico de TDAH y qué tipo de
presentación (con el código DSM-5) se
aplica.
Explicación previa al paciente/cuida-
dores
Esta entrevista se utilizará para preguntar
sobre la presencia de síntomas de TDAH
que usted/su cliente experimentó durante
su infancia y edad adulta. Las preguntas se
basan en los criterios ociales para el TDAH
del DSM-5. Para cada pregunta le
preguntaré si reconoce el problema. Para
ayudarle durante la entrevista le
proporcionaré algunos ejemplos de cada
síntoma, que describen la forma en que
niños y adultos suelen experimentar
dicultades relacionadas con cada uno de
los síntomas del TDAH. En primer lugar, se
le harán las preguntas a usted y, a
continuación, a su cuidador, pareja y
familiares (si están presentes). Lo más
probable es que tus cuidadores sólo te
conozcan desde la edad adulta y se les
harán preguntas sobre el periodo de tu vida
en que te conocieron; tu familia tendrá una
idea más aproximada de tu
comportamiento durante la infancia. Es
necesario investigar ambas etapas de tu
vida para poder establecer el diagnóstico
de TDAH.
